About Us
In the 60's, while in the nursing home business, Bill Keelon recognized a need for an affordable healthcare facility for seniors. Focusing on respect, dignity and the care that life deserves, he described it as, “a step before the nursing home.” Over 30 years ago Mr. Keelon and his wife Vivian, opened their first Senior Community.
They were the first operators of this type facility in the northern region of their state. The Keelon’s are considered pioneers of senior independent living. Today there is an estimated 12,000 nationwide assisted living facilities.
At Keestone we honor the original plan that started over 30 years ago, the care that life deserves.
